Product description

The main advantages are the optimization of information exchange inside and between Emergency Services, for example by fast access to data base information in the widest possible meaning, be it geographical information, health status, previous history, toxicity of substances, known risks etc. and combining such information into a format that makes it possible for Emergency Services personnel to speed up response times and increase efficiency and safety of action or treatment upon arrival at an incident.

Technical product description

Clients are to be hosted on computers/devices running Microsoft Windows operating system (Windows Vista and Windows 7). Backend system is hosted on computers running Microsoft Windows operating system. (Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7). The system makes use of a Windows Server acting as repository / file server. A DBMS is utilized as well. Microsoft SQL Server is a supported DBMS. At the moment ED-merge is developed / available to dedicated partners only. ED-merge will be available for licensing by other interested partners from 2011 onwards.
